How to get there
From the airport
The closest airport to Casa Cares is Florence and you can reach us by car or train. Below are all the directions. But write to us and we will help you arrange your arrival.
With the car
State road from Florence: drive south on SR 69 following signs for Pontassieve; after passing Pontassieve, after about 6 km turn left at the fork, direction Vallombrosa/Donnini. Follow the signs for Donnini and turn right towards Reggello. Once you pass San Donato in Fronzano, you will see the Casa Cares sign on the left.
Highway (A1): exit at the Incisa Reggello toll booth and follow the signs for Reggello. Once past the village, follow the signs for Donnini/Vallombrosa. Once past the hamlet of Pietrapiana, follow the signs for Donnini. About 1 km from the junction you will find the Casa Cares sign on the right.
With the train
From Florence Santa Maria Novella by regional train and travel time of about 30 minutes, it is possible to reach Sant'Ellero Station (5 km from the facility).
Here you can take the Colbus bus and get off at Casa Cares or book a cab service. You can find out the bus schedule and book a cab by contacting the front desk.
