How to get there
The Foresteria Valdese is located in the Oltrarno district, just a few minutes from Florence’s historic center.
It is within easy walking distance of the Santa Maria Novella train station and is well connected to the city’s main public transportation routes.
From the airport
Florence Airport is connected to Santa Maria Novella Station via the tram (Line T2), with frequent service and a travel time of about 20 minutes.
With the car
The Foresteria is located within the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) and does not have private parking.
Guests are permitted access only for unloading luggage, provided they notify the front desk of their license plate number in advance.
Private garages and paid parking lots are available nearby.
A viable alternative is the Villa Costanza park-and-ride facility, connected to the city center via tram, which allows for easy access to Santa Maria Novella Station.
With the train
We recommend traveling to Florence by train.
From Santa Maria Novella Station, the Foresteria is about a 20-minute walk through the historic center.
Alternatively, city buses and taxis are available.
