How to get there
Foresteria Valdese is located in the Oltrarno district, just a short walk from the historic center of Florence.
It is within easy walking distance of the Santa Maria Novella train station and well connected to the city's main means of transportation.
From the airport
The Florence airport is connected to Santa Maria Novella station by tramway (Line T2), with frequent rides and travel times of about 20 minutes.
With the car
The guesthouse is located within the Restricted Traffic Zone (ZTL) and has no private parking.
Access is granted to guests for unloading luggage only, subject to notification of license plate at reception. Private garages and paid parking spaces are available nearby.
A good alternative is the Villa Costanza interchange parking lot, connected to the city center by tramway, which provides easy access to Santa Maria Novella station.
With the train
We recommend reaching Florence by train.
From Santa Maria Novella station, the Foresteria is about a 20-minute walk through the historic center. Alternatively, city buses and cabs are available.
