Case Valdesi School field trip to Casa Cares

Workshops for boys and girls, nature experiences and convenient connections to Florence, Siena and Arezzo. Discover the proposals and benefits for schools!

Your school field trip between art and the environment

Workshops tailored for all ages, walks in the woods with expert guides, a dive into olive growing and oil production, including history and tastings. All in a beautiful villa surrounded by a large park, easily connected with the main art cities of Tuscany. These are just some of the proposals for your school trip to Casa Cares.

The Small Museum of Oil and the Territory

With its heart in the 1700s olive mill, the Small Museum of Oil and the Territory opens to young visitors and field trip visitors with a tailor-made program suitable for all ages and learning levels. The museum is designed according to sustainable and inclusive criteria and allows visitors to explore the history of olive growing, the countryside and local people.

A field trip that pays attention to inclusiveness

At Casa Cares we make the values of inclusiveness our own. We are equipped with accessible rooms, common spaces and services and pay attention to diverse needs and food choices. We offer meals prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients and grow local vegetables in our organic garden using natural methods.

Groups are welcome!

Casa Cares is particularly suitable for groups, whether one is looking for a place of tranquility in the countryside or a base for exploring Tuscany. Spaces-including the theater, common rooms, game room, and lounges-are arranged as needed and can accommodate educational, meeting, entertaining, and relaxing times. Plus the garden, with a scenic sports field, ancient olive trees, and a forest to explore.

On a school field trip to Casa Cares: a solidarity and sustainable choice

Casa Cares is part of the Waldensian Homes circuit and is non-profit. Staying with us helps support social projects promoted by the Valdese Diaconia. We also strive every day to reduce our environmental impact with sustainability practices, waste reduction and plastic free choices.
