In the surroundings of Casa Cares it is possible to organize trips to the cool of the Vallombrosa forest or to Pratomagno, a walk to the crags, a swim at the river, a dip at the pool in Reggello. For those in search of art, it is possible to visit Masaccio ‘s triptych at the Pieve di Cascia, or to reach, Arezzo, Florence and Siena.
For those who also want to tour wineries, the Setteponti road between Florence and Arezzo allows you to put together nature, art and food and wine. And for those who just want to read, rest, play or take a tour of the vegetable garden, there is the large park at Casa Cares.

Spring and fall at the Waldensian House in Rio Marina
The Valdese House in Rio Marina is located in the center of the ancient village of the same name on the eastern side ofElba Island, close to the sea and a short distance from the Mineral Park. The large private garden offers the opportunity to relax surrounded by trees and flowers of rare beauty.
Rooms and mini-apartments allow solutions suitable for single guests, couples, families and small groups. Guests staying in rooms without a kitchenette have access to a communal kitchen to prepare breakfast and reheat self-purchased dishes.
