Diaconia Valdese Newsletter and Promotional Materials
This information is provided pursuant to the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (also called GDPR), DLgs 196/03 (as amended by DLgs 101/18) for the protection of personal data.
The Case Valdesi Newsletter, which allows people to stay up-to-date on the initiatives promoted by Case Valdesi and Diaconia Valdese, is sent via e-mail to those who explicitly request it by filling out the appropriate form at www.casevaldesi.it and authorizing the Holder to process their personal data.
PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING
Personal data voluntarily provided by users are used for the purpose of sending the Newsletter.
The Newsletter is a communication with informative, promotional and advertising content sent to all interested parties who request it. Subscribing to the Newsletter implies sending generalized and/or targeted promotional communications based on the data provided by the data subject (e.g., language, country of origin, interest in certain products). This means that we may process the data so that the Newsletter sent is as close as possible to what the person has requested and/or may be interested in.
The data will not be used under any circumstances without the consent of the data subject.
PURPOSES OF “PROFILING”
data (non-sensitive/particular) resulting from filling out the forms on the Case Valdesi website could be used, only and exclusively with the free, optional, specific and explicit consent of the person concerned revocable at any time, also to identify and define his preferences (so-called “profiling”). After expressing consent, it is still the right of the person concerned to revoke it, at any time, by writing to info@casevaldesi.it
METHODS FOR THE PROCESSING OF DATA
The processing of data will be carried out with the help of electronic or otherwise automated tools, according to the methods and with means suitable to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data. In particular, specific technical, organizational and procedural security measures are observed, so that the appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed, to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
The data are processed exclusively by personnel in charge of the processing, according to the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, relevance and not excessive in relation to the purposes of collection and subsequent processing.
The data relating to the online service are not subject to communication or dissemination, unless otherwise provided by law or regulation.
EVENTUAL RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA
The personal data that Case Valdesi will come into possession of are not subject to dissemination. The same may be subject to communication within Case Valdesi or Diaconia Valdese. They may also come to the attention of authorized persons (e.g., employees of Case Valdesi) and data processors appointed by Case Valdesi.
Please be advised that the data, as appropriate, may come to the attention of:
a) suppliers and/or collaborators of marketing and advertising services;
b) suppliers of web services and/or other services rendered in outsourcing (e.g., for sending the Newsletter)
c) suppliers of services related to customer care

RIGHTS OF THE PERSON CONCERNED
In relation to the data subject to the processing referred to in this statement, the person concerned is recognized at any time the right to: access, rectification, cancellation, limitation, portability, opposition to the processing; to lodge a complaint to the Guarantor Authority for the Protection of Personal Data; to be informed/informed, by the Data Controller or Manager, of any data nominated provided for by the legislation. LEGAL BASIS
Failure to consent to the processing of data will affect the performance of the service referred to. Failure to consent on your part prevents the sending of the Waldensian Homes Newsletter and informational and promotional materials by the Waldensian Diaconia.
TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
The personal data requested at the time of registration consists of the e-mail address required to send the Newsletter, the first and last name of the person requesting it. The data will be kept until the moment of the user’s request for cancellation, subject to the cancellation of the Newsletter service by Case Valdesi, which will result in the simultaneous deletion of the user’s data.
OPTIONAL SUBMISSION OF DATA
The provision of data is optional. Refusal to provide the data will result in the inability to receive the Newsletter.

This policy is subject to updates; therefore, users are encouraged to check its contents periodically.
