Events & Routes “Garden and art,” a botanical workshop at Casa Cares
From March 8 to 10, 2026, a holiday to learn plant care and create a botanical print together
A holiday between agriculture and creativity
As spring approaches, the Casa Cares garden flourishes again and “Garden and Art” arrives, from March 8 to 10, 2026, a holiday with botanical workshop to learn how to care for plants and create a botanical print together, amidst oil tasting and relaxing moments.
Why a botanical workshop at Casa Cares?
Agriculture is an integral part of the spirit of Casa Cares. We grow local vegetables, medicinal plants and aromatic varieties with natural methods, without the use of synthetic substances, offering guests meals prepared with ingredients that are always fresh and in season. Also dwelling in the park are 700 olive trees grown with an organic approach, from which are produced three varieties of high quality oil that can be tasted and purchased at the facility, recognized by Slow Food as among the best in the area.
“Garden and Art”: the program
It starts on Sunday, March 8: participants will be expected at lunchtime to eat all together. In the afternoon immediately with hands in the soil! From vegetable garden plants to potted plants, we will discover how to grow and care for them. Followed by a time of relaxation and dinner. Ahead on Monday, March 9: after breakfast scheduled a visit to the Small Museum of Oil and Territory, then lunch and in the afternoon space for creativity with the creation of a botanical-themed print, concluding with dinner. Tuesday, March 10, the botanical workshop concludes with breakfast and departure.
