The oil from Casa Cares is grown in one of the most renowned areas for olive cultivation. Reggello is a city of olive oil and, not surprisingly, every year in early November there is an Oil Festival.

This year, due to drought and climate change, the harvest is expected to be not too rich but the result, although not abundant, will be high quality oil as always.

In 2022, in May, Casa Cares oil, in addition to being selected for the “Guide to Extravirgin Olive Oil 2022” Slow Food, received special recognition on the occasion of the day at LE SCUDERIE GRANDUCALI in Serravezza.

We imagine we start the olive harvest around the end of October and still have a few rooms free. We look forward to a relaxing and tasteful stay between walks in the olive groves, tastings of new oil, and trips to the surrounding area.
