Thinking about the duration of this newsletter, which covers the months through March, we have chosen exhibitions that in some way have women as their theme, connecting us to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Giornata_internazionale_della_donna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Women&#8217;s Rights Day<\/a> <\/strong>on<strong>March 8<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Florence<\/h2>\n\n<p>In <strong>Florence,<\/strong> at the premises of the Bank of Italy, very close to the cathedral on Via dell&#8217;Oriuolo, you can visit the exhibition  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arte.it\/calendario-arte\/firenze\/mostra-verso-la-modernit%C3%A0-presenze-femminili-nella-collezione-d-arte-della-banca-d-italia-94847\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Toward Modernity. Female presences in the art collection of the Bank of Italy. <\/strong><\/a>. It is a collection of paintings that tell the story of <strong>women&#8217;s emancipation<\/strong>, and what still remains to be done, from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century. The exhibition also offers the opportunity to visit rooms of the Bank of Italy Building normally closed to the public. <\/p>\n\n<p>The exhibition is free from Thursday to Sunday after booking on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.versolamodernita.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>official website<\/strong><\/a> until March 10, 2024.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rome<\/h2>\n\n<p>In <strong>Rome<\/strong>, throughout the year, the exhibition will be open to visitors.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.museodiroma.it\/node\/1013693\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <strong>Roma pittrice.<\/strong> <strong>Women Artists in Rome between the 16th And 19th Centuries.<\/strong><\/a>, which offers an opportunity to see paintings by women painters who worked in Rome from the 16th century until 1800, from <strong>Artemisia Gentileschi<\/strong> to Angelika Kauffmann.<\/p>\n\n<p>The exhibition can be visited at the <strong>Museum of Rome<\/strong> in Piazza San Pantaleo, 10 &#8211; Piazza Navona, 2 from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Venice<\/h2>\n\n<p>In Venice at Ca&#8217; Rezzonico &#8211; Museo del Settecento Veneziano it is possible to visit until February 14, 2024 the exhibition of <strong>Rosalba<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/carezzonico.visitmuve.it\/it\/mostre\/mostre-in-corso\/rosalba-carriera-miniature-su-avorio\/2023\/08\/19640\/rosalba-carriera\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Carriera<\/strong><\/a> &#8216;s <strong>miniatures<\/strong> <strong>on ivory<\/strong>, which is entitled precisely <strong>Rosalba Carriera, miniatures on ivory<\/strong>. These are brush portraits on small ivory mounts, which made her famous in the European courts of the 18th century. The palace is worth a visit even without the pretext of the exhibition. <\/p>\n\n<p>The exhibition is open Monday through Sunday.
